Holidays

Wow. I live by myself and rely on my friends for my family meals and holiday traditions. My birthday is in July and this year I had a great one with dinners and celebrations. This year I was invited to a thanksgiving dinner to one of my friends family and I had a good dinner and a nice family feel.

Jack shephard you're dead and this is your afterlife

It was a bit of a disappointment. It was very long and stressful 6 years and I feel betrayed
Answers were not provided. People were missing from the finale.
It upset me that they went with the religious explanation and not the scientific one.
That Jack as a man of science started to believe and that in the end it was all for nothing.
They are all dead.
It started as a great tragedy; people are struggled on a deserted island. Fighting for their survival and their rescue. The show was a great character study and showed us that people try to change and fail.
We fell in love with them, we cheered for them and we died with them.
The island has a heart and it had it’s own agenda but the explanation that it was all for nothing, that it was a struggle to get in terms with your own death is just the easy way out.

Law Abiding Citizen

Law Abiding Citizen Review
Nelly Godovich
Directed by: F. Gary Gray

LAW ABIDING CITIZEN is a revenge film and I love them. The film starts with a family that is getting ready for dinner. They go through an awful ordeal after robbers invade their home. Clyde the father stays alive, just to see his wife and daughter brutally murdered.
It has been ten years and Clyde had time to plan his revenge against Nick the Assistant DA that is to blame because he let one of the killers walks free after a plea bargain.
Ruthless, gory, unapologetic, Clyde is wiping out all the people that have anything to do with this case. His moves are smart and manipulative and well thought about, he is one man killing machine and he does it all from inside a jail cell. He believes that the Justice system needs to be changed and that a lot of the criminals that walk the streets, need to be behind bars. His methods are cruel and intimidating; the judge that was very smug and put him in the cell is eliminated by a single bullet to her head and without a gun. This film is definitely not for the ill hearted. But you have applaud the filmmakers for originality in choosing the weapons a saw, firing machine, a cell phone and a lot more.
The Film was produced by Gerard Butler, the main actor that was suppose to portray “Nick” the Assistant DA, but changed his mind at the last moment and decided to become “Clyde”. The wrongly imprisoned “Law Abiding Citizen”. Clyde is a “brain” and he knows every move of the Philadelphia PD before they make it.
The Film reminds you of a lot of different revenge film from “The Punisher” to “Kill Bill” and it has problems and sometimes doesn’t make sense, but overall it’s an excellent piece of entertainment. Gerard Butler gives an electrifying and Fantastic lead performance. He plays a convincing, devious sociopath who is willing to do anything to complete his missions. In his mind, none of the people he is killing or causing damage to are innocent, because they failed him as part of the justice system. Yes, he's crazy, but he delivers such a great performance that I couldn't help but root for him a little bit and be on his side and Jamie Fox on his end does a great character development. The editing is very fast paced and the story does hold you on the edge of your sit.
Most of the plot is not realistic and can’t happen in our daily lives but I enjoyed it. It is smart, suspenseful and interesting. Instead of dismissing it, I recommend giving it a chance. You may find yourself enjoying it. If not, it's clearly not for everyone.

My Day

My day started very strangely today
I woke up and a friend that left the country two months ago contacted me and we had an amazing conversation. About life and plans.
Then another friend which I did not see for a while wanted to drop off and bring me coffee.
Plus my horoscope for today is Here is just the kind of day artists dream about. After yet another lukewarm reception of your artwork, one of the most influential agents shows up and offers to place your paintings in the most prestigious museums in the world! This is just one example of the extraordinary events that could be in store for you today. Whatever your pursuits, you have a very good chance of success!
My Diet is coming along, I started Pilates classes and going to school.
Life is getting better, I think.

"Gilmore Girls"

I just finished watching “Gilmore Girls” all 7 seasons.
It only took 13 days and 104 hours.
It was great and fun and complete, not as good as Buffy but up there. It’s original and fast and interesting and made me cry on numerous occasions and now I want to read and it’s been a while. My favorite is Lorelai she is funny and witty and interesting and out of this world.
A journey that I am happy that I took and that I saw it all at once.
